The dark gray matte finish accepts standard house paint or can be left unpainted if desired. The wide mouth provides excellent open area to expel hot air and lint so that clothes dryers can function optimally. The included wall plate creates a clean finish on the interior. The heavy back-draft flapper opens when the clothes dryer is on, and stays shut when the dryer is off to help keep birds and rodents out.
